Week One Weight Loss Experiment Results
Let’s begin by saying that this week of experimenting was not quite as scientific as I would have liked. Due to excessive drinking, I did not take my Advil PM two nights. So the experiment is only valid for 5/7ths of the total time accrued. (Is that even a real fraction?!)
Anyway, for those of you who haven’t been following this experiment, I decided to find out if improved sleep really does promote weight loss. I have been taking Advil PM (almost) every night for a week and the result is:…………………………………..
I’ve lost one pound.
Not amazing, I know. But, hey, I’m a pound lighter than I was last week. I’m going to keep it up through the month of December and report back to you guys weekly.

I’m game to try. I sleep only about 6 hours a night, no matter what time I go to bed. Six hours and I’m up and out of bed like popped out of a toaster. Often I’m still tired, but I can’t fall back to sleep. I’d like to shed some pounds, too. I’ll post my findings so we can compare notes.
